Erie County Legislature Majority Leader April Baskin participated in Meals on Wheels for Western New York, delivering meals to residents in need. The organization serves meals to more than 3,400 homebound clients each year, helping the frail and ill elderly or disabled enjoy the highest level of independence possible.

Legislator Baskin reflected on the experience saying, "I am grateful to all those involved in the organization, both staff and volunteers, their work allows homebound seniors and disabled individuals the ability to remain independent. This essential program nourishes both the body and soul of those who participate.
