Bruso Hosts Another Installment of "Community Conversation" series featuring Bill Fichtner

Erie County Legislator John Bruso to held a “Finding Your Niche” Program for Depew high school students on Monday, December 10th. The event that focused on dispelling stigma and finding your own life path through persistence and determination culminated in many of the students asking questions to actor William Fichtner, Jr who is a Cheektowaga native. The program is another installment in the Legislator’s “Community Conversation” series.

Bruso Announces Start of Work on Como Lake Park Dam

Erie County Legislator John Bruso today announced the commencement of rehabilitation work on the Como Lake Park dam. This week, the Erie County Department of Parks, Forestry and Recreation and the Department of Public Works began work on the dam and the creek/lake embankment.

April 24, 2018 - Legislator John Bruso participated in Kids Day today. Every year, The Buffalo News prints special Kids Day editions of the paper to sell on street corners across Western New York. Legislator Bruso spent the morning with other volunteers selling the special edition of the Buffalo News for $1 on street corners around the city.

County Wide Prescription Drug Drop-Off Box Program Expands to the Village of Depew.

The County wide Prescription Drug Drop-Off Box program has expanded to the Village of Depew. The boxes are located at the Depew Police Station which is 85 Manitou St, Depew NY 14043. The boxes are located within the lobby which is open to the public 24/7. These will accept prescription drugs, pet medications, and will also have a needle drop box.

The Erie County Soil and Water Conservation District is hosting the 17th annual Erie County Envirothon. As a member on the board, Legislator John Bruso spent the morning with students at the kick off for this year's competition.

Legislator John Bruso participated in Meals on Wheels for Western New York, delivering meals to Erie County residents. The organization serves meals to more than 3,400 homebound clients each year, helping the frail and ill elderly or disabled enjoy the highest level of independence possible.
