Erie County, NY- Erie County Legislature Majority Caucus is pleased to announce that the Erie County Department of Social Services has issued the 2019 Operation Primetime request for proposals for qualified agencies interested in providing Summer Primetime Programming to at-risk youth ages 5-20 residing in Erie County.
A maximum award of $15,000 is potentially available per funding request for local not-for-profit agencies and local youth bureaus to provide community programming. A maximum award of $5,000 is potentially available per funding request for programming provided in the Secure Youth Detention Facility located at 810 East Ferry Street, Buffalo. Applicants applying to run a Youth Development Program in the Erie County Secure Youth Detention Facility may submit two distinct proposals: one for the traditional community-based Youth Development Program, and one for the Detention Facility.
The award period is June 24-August 30, 2019. All programs must operate for a minimum of six weeks during this term.

RFP Informational Meeting: Wednesday, January 30th, 2019, 10:30 am - 12:00 pm at True Bethel Baptist Church, 907 E. Ferry St. Buffalo
Proposals Due: Wednesday, February 13th, 2019 by 5:00 pm to the Erie County Detention, 810 E. Ferry Street, Buffalo Buffalo
Applicant Interviews: Wednesday, March 6th, 2019 from 1:30 pm – 7:30 pm at True Bethel Baptist Church, 907 E. Ferry St. Buffalo
Notification of Funding: June 2019 pending approval by the Erie County Legislature
