Erie County Legislator John J. Mills announces that the Erie County Legislature will hold a special session at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 7 in the chambers, 92 Franklin St., Fourth Floor, Buffalo, to vote on approval of the CSEA contract, which was recently approved by union members.

“This has been an ongoing matter for several years but with approval from the members of CSEA, the county can move onto the next step. The Legislature must take a vote on whether or not to ratify the contract as part of the process. As is the case with any union contract, the Legislature has to consider if the agreement is also a good deal for taxpayers. The Legislature will convene on Aug. 7 to consider the contract,” said Chairman Mills.
