During Thursday’s session, the Erie County Legislature voted unanimously in favor of observing the week of May 20th-26th as “Emergency Medical Services Week” in Erie County.
“We thank emergency crews for their dedication to keeping our community safe,” said Minority Leader Joe Lorigo. “Often times, minutes matter in an emergency situation. These men and women work tirelessly to respond quickly and save lives.”
“It is important to honor our local EMS crews for the life-saving services they provide every single day,” said Legislator Lynne Dixon. “We are grateful for these individuals who often volunteer their time and work long hours to protect our community.”
