Erie County Legislator Lynne Dixon joined Meals on Wheels volunteers to drop off meals to residents throughout Cheektowaga last week.

Meals on Wheels for WNY, a program of the newly-established FeedMore WNY, delivers healthy meals to homebound seniors and individuals with disabilities each day.

“I was happy to join Meals on Wheels volunteer Christine Procknal to make deliveries throughout Cheektowaga,” said Legislator Dixon. “This is an amazing program that helps so many seniors and homebound individuals throughout our area, and I have been privileged to serve on the board for seven years. Thank you to all of the volunteers who make deliveries rain or shine and brighten many days along the way!”
