The agreement with the State pertains to maintenance performed by individual Snowmobile Clubs of Erie County on club trails located outside County-owned lands as well as on trails located in Erie County Parks and Forestry lots.

Legislator Lorigo said, “This State aid is crucial. Oftentimes we do not have the resources to keep up on the proper maintenance of these snowmobile trails. Now, there is no excuse.   Residents throughout Erie County will be able to get out of the house during these brutal winter months and hit the trails.”
