Erie County Legislator Ed Rath, members of the Legislature’s Minority Caucus, the South Line Fire Company, and Dave’s Christmas Wonderland are teaming up to host a contact-free food drive to help FeedMore of Western New York continue feeding families throughout the community.

The drive will take place Saturday, May 23, 2020 at Dave’s Christmas Wonderland’s Depew location, 1460 French Road in the Catalyst Fitness plaza. Items sought include: canned fruits and vegetables, and shelf-stable proteins such as peanut butter, canned chicken, and fish. Volunteers will be on-site to secure donations from 10am-1pm.

Legislator Rath said, “This is one way we can help families in need throughout Erie County. During these challenging times, everyone deserves consistent access to meals. I hope all will consider dropping by to make a donation to help FeedMore WNY continue feeding families!”

"Many of our neighbors are in need right now," said Dave Gordon, owner of Dave's Christmas Wonderland. "As a locally-owned business, we have appreciated our community supporting us during this time of crisis and we are grateful for the opportunity to give back."

For every 5 items donated, Dave’s Christmas Wonderland will offer a mask free of charge. Anyone with questions can contact Legislator Rath’s office at 716-858-8676 or by emailing Edward.Rath@erie.gov.
