Erie County Legislator Ed Rath presented a proclamation to Edward Lewis of the Clarence Volunteer Fire Department congratulating him on 45 years of service to the department

Edward Lewis began serving in the fire department in 1975 and moved on to a number of different roles, including treasurer, the board of directors, and the fire police squad.

Legislator Rath said, “It was my pleasure to recognize Mr. Lewis for his selfless service to the Clarence Fire Department. He and all other members of our volunteer fire departments make great sacrifice to ensure our communities are safe. Congratulations to him on reaching this milestone!”
