Erie County Legislator Frank Todaro joined the Pink Cow Ice Cream stand for their special 10th anniversary celebration this week and thanked them for their dedication to serving the Alden community.

In addition to serving ice cream, owners of the Pink Cow Laura and Hanna Ross are known for their generosity through the annual “Share the Love” program, which has helped countless community organizations including Make-a-Wish, the Teacher’s Desk, Children’s Hospital, Adpot-a-Pet, and more. This year, they distributed more than 15,000 free ice cream coupons to students and staff in the Alden, Akron, Pembroke, Alexander, Attica, Iroquois and Lancaster school districts.  Legislator Todaro presented owners Laura and Hanna Ross with a proclamation to mark the occasion of their 10th birthday and show appreciation for their charitable efforts.

Legislator Todaro said, “It was my pleasure to take part in the birthday celebration for Alden’s famous ice cream stand. Laura and Hanna Ross are known for more than just their outstanding ice cream, as they are constantly giving back to the community. I congratulate the Pink Cow and wish them many years of continued success!”
