Erie County Legislator Frank Todaro recently secured a riding lawn mower for the Lancaster Booster Baseball Club to help properly maintain Dawson Field for years to come. The commercial mower was transferred to the club from Erie County’s surplus warehouse.

Lancaster Baseball Booster Club Chairman said, “The Lancaster Baseball Booster Club greatly appreciates the Jacobsen mower donation for Historic Dawson Field. This mower will save our volunteer grounds crew countless hours this summer and will help us in our quest for this 95 year old baseball field to be one of the best in Western New York for youth baseball. Thank you!”

Legislator Todaro said, “After learning that the Lancaster Booster Baseball Club was in need of a mower to help with the proper upkeep of Dawson Field, I immediately went to work in searching for one. When my constituents are in need of something that will greatly benefit everyone in my district, it is of the utmost importance to me.”
