Erie County Legislator Frank Todaro recently visited with some of Lancaster’s Finest during their Coffee with a Cop event. The goal of the gathering—to help bridge the gap between the community and the Lancaster Police Department.

Several police officers gathered at Lancaster Coffee Co. & Café on Central Avenue to meet and chat with members of the Lancaster community over a cup of coffee. Legislator Todaro sat for a while to get to know the officers and Chief Karn on a personal level and learned more about their jobs.

Legislator Todaro said, “Events like Coffee with a Cop are always so important, but especially in this day and age with such a stigma that surrounds law enforcement and police officers. I believe it is important to support our local police departments and make it a priority to thank a cop whenever you have an opportunity.”
