Youth Bureau: Youth Volunteer Program

Youth Volunteer Program

The Clarence Youth Volunteer Program provides opportunities for youth ages 12-20 to volunteer their time to local agencies and organizations through a variety of service activities. Volunteers are sent a monthly calendar of activities to choose from. Youth will have the opportunity to work with children, senior citizens, people with disabilities, or simply lend a hand at community events. The program operates on a year-round basis with activities taking place after school, evenings, and weekends.

Every year we host our Youth Volunteer Recognition Ceremony for our volunteers and their families. This event is designed to recognize and celebrate the dedication of our youth volunteers during that past year. Volunteers will receive awards based on the amount of hours served. Other prestigious awards are given out to the Top Youth Volunteer, Top Volunteer Organization, Friend of Youth and the Presidential Volunteer Service Award.
