Audit Division Completes Corrective Action Plan

The Audit Division within the Office of Erie County Comptroller Has completed a corrective action plan to address and correct numerous deficiencies discovered when Stefan I. Mychajliw took office on January 1st, 2013.

Final Report on Documents Issued

Sales Tax Revenue Continues to Fall Short of Administration Projections

Poloncarz Administration predicted 3.73% annual growth from 2012 to 2013.  Actual growth for the first four months of the year is 2.32%. That equals an almost $6 million hole in this year’s budget

Erie County Comptroller Stefan Iwan Mychajliw is the son of Polish and Ukrainian immigrants, the youngest of seven children, who grew up in blue-collar beginnings near the corner of William and Fillmore on the East Side of Buffalo.

The people of Erie County first elected Mychajliw Erie County Comptroller on November 6th, 2012. Husband to Ashley, a social worker, and proud father of Mia Theresa Mychajliw, a student at Cleve Hill.
