Ethical Awareness Moderator Course

Description:

The Erie County Law Enforcement Training Academy in cooperation with the City of Bufalo Police Department will present a three (3) day Ethical Aawreness Moderator Course.  This course is certified by the NYS Department of Criminal Justice Services, and is required for Ethics Instructors teaching the basic course.

This course is designed to certify current instrucors to provide ethical awareness training to recruits in approved training, or for any in-service training.  Course topics include; Adult Learning Theory, Facilitation Role of Instructor, Workshop Method, Psychology of Group Dynamics, Perception of Decision Making, Scale of Values, Moral Dilemmas, and Organization and Set up for Facilitation Groups.

Please Note:

• Course enrollment will be limited to forty (40) officers.  
• There is no cost for Erie County Police Agencies
• Out of County officers must provide a certificate of residency form and will be charged $300.00
