Motor Vehicle Crash Management Basic Course

Description:

The Erie Community College Law Enforcement Training Academy will be offering a one week course in accident investigation.  This course trains officers to process accident scenes by preserving and collecting available data and physical evidence.  Students are also trained in basic collision investigation calculations and scene diagramming.

Class size will be limited to 25 students and registered on a first come basis.  Priority will be given to full time, Erie County Police Officers.

Please Note:

Each student will need to supply:

  • A clipboard
  • Out of county officers must provide a certificate of residency form.  Please call if you need additional information and for an out of County fee schedule.
  • Unless enrollment permits otherwise, agencies are limited to allow equal opportunity to this course.
  • There is no cost for this course for Erie County Agencies.  Out of County should call to see if a fee applies.

Please Observe The Academy Dress Code:

Uniform or shirt and tie for men, proper business attire for women; blue jeans are ‘NOT” acceptable
