Erie County District Attorney Frank A. Sedita, III announced that 34 year old Wyatt Hayes aka “Chicago” of 272 Stevens Street, Buffalo, will be arraigned this afternoon before County Court Judge Kenneth F. Case on an indictment charging him with Murder in the Second Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree.

It is alleged that on July 18, 2012, at the corner of East Ferry and Stevens Streets in Buffalo, Hayes fatally shot 26 year old Darryl McDavis of 16 Stevens Street, Buffalo.

If convicted of these crimes Hayes faces a maximum prison sentence of 25 years to life.
