Former Employee at Norampac in Lancaster Pleaded Guilty to Grand Larceny for Stealing Over $38,000 from Employer

Erie County District Attorney Frank A. Sedita, III announced that 46 year old Lynn Montgomery of 1290 Sullivan, Alden, pleaded guilty this morning to Grand Larceny in the Second Degree, as charged, and Offering a False Instrument for Filing in the First Degree before Supreme Court Justice M. William Boller.  These are the highest charges for which the defendant could have been convicted had she gone to trial. 

Montgomery admitted that during the period between July 15, 2005 and December 30, 2011, while employed as a Human Resource Representative at Norampac Industries Inc., 4444 Walden Avenue, Lancaster, she stole a total of $38,692.27 and did not report those earnings on her New York State Income Tax returns. The loss to New York State is $17,258.

Sentencing is scheduled for  October 19, 2012, at 9:30 a.m. before the Hon. M. William Boller when Montgomery faces a maximum prison sentence of 19 years.
