Erie County District Attorney Frank A. Sedita, III announced that 25 year old Anthony Pettiford of 195 Stevens, Buffalo, pleaded guilty, as charged, to Robbery in the First Degree and Burglary in the First Degree before Supreme Court Justice Christopher Burns. These are the highest charges for which Pettiford could have been convicted had he gone to trial.

Pettiford admitted that on November 22, 2010 he, along with co-defendants 21 year old Donte Bibbes, 21 year old Keven Walker and 26 year old Jaquan Snell, forced their way into a South Park residence by gunpoint and robbed a female and her two teenage daughters.  Bibbes and Snell have previously been convicted of Robbery in the Second Degree, and Walker of Robbery in the First Degree, in connection with this home invasion.

Pettiford faces a maximum prison sentence of 25 years when he is sentenced on August 30, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. before the Hon. Christopher Burns.
