Erie County District Attorney Frank A. Sedita, III announces that 28 year-old Jenna Hoyt of 319 Cottonwood Drive in the Town of Amherst will be arraigned at 9:30 a.m. before Supreme Court Justice M. William Boller on an indictment charging her with one count of Feloniously Driving While Intoxicated and one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree.

April 20, 2014, in the Town of Amherst, Hoyt allegedly operated her motor vehicle while in an intoxicated condition. She also allegedly had a quantity of amphetamines in her possession.  As alleged in the Special Information, Hoyt had been convicted of Driving While Intoxicated in the Town of Amherst just four days earlier.

If convicted of these crimes Hoyt faces a maximum sentence of four years in state prison.

Like all defendants accused of a crime, Hoyt is legally presumed to be innocent until her guilt is proven in a court of law.
