Erie County District Attorney Frank A. Sedita III announced that 38 year old Ray Davis was convicted, as charged, of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree after a four day Jury trial before Supreme Court Justice M. William Boller.

Davis’ conviction stems from the September 11, 2012 possession of a 9 mm Glock pistol, which was found by officers from the Erie County Probation Department during an inspection of his home on Clinton Street in the City of Buffalo.   The investigation determined that Davis possessed the weapon and three magazines loaded with 27 rounds of ammunition.

Davis faces a maximum prison term of 15 years when he is sentenced before the Hon. M. William Boller on August 23, 2013.  The case was successfully prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Paul J. Glascott.
