Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn announces that 24-year-old Andre Rounds of Buffalo has been arraigned by State Supreme Court Justice John L. Michalski on Murder in the Second Degree and several weapons charges. 

It is alleged that during the early morning hours of June 12, 2018, the defendant fatally shot 22-year-old Ronald Miles of Buffalo on Grimes Street in the City of Buffalo.

The defendant was remanded without bail.

Rounds is scheduled to return on Monday, July 23 at 9:30 a.m.

If convicted on all charges, Rounds faces up to 25 years to life in prison.

DA Flynn commends the investigative work of the Buffalo Police Homicide Squad.

Assistant District Attorney Christine M. Garvey of the DA’s Homicide Bureau is prosecuting the case.

As are all persons accused of a crime, the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
