Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn announces that 45-year-old Charrinda Gray of Buffalo has been arraigned by Buffalo City Court Judge Betty Calvo-Torres on one count of Manslaughter in the First Degree.

It is alleged that on November 19, 2020 at approximately 8:00 p.m., Buffalo Police responded to a stabbing call at a house on Heward Avenue where the victim was found with stab wounds to the abdomen and buttocks. The victim later succumbed to his injuries at ECMC.

Gray was remanded without bail. She is scheduled to return on November 25, 2020 at 2:30 p.m.

If convicted on all charges, Gray faces up to 25 years in prison.

Assistant District Attorney Ashley Morgan of the DA’s Homicide Bureau is prosecuting the case.

As are all persons accused of a crime, the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
