Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn announces that 45-year-old Eliud Manso of Buffalo has been sentenced by State Supreme Court Justice John L. Michalski to 6 years in prison followed by 3 years of post-release supervision.

On October 10, 2017, the defendant sold a mixture of heroin and fentanyl to an undercover State Police officer on Walden Avenue in the Town of Cheektowaga.

Manso, a prior felony offender, pleaded guilty to one count of Attempted Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, a Class “C” felony, in October 2018.

DA Flynn commends the investigative work by members of the New York State Police.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Justin T. Wallens of the DA’s Narcotics Unit.
