Acting Erie County District Attorney Michael J. Flaherty, Jr. announces that 17-year-old Michael Fiorentino of Williamsville has been sentenced to 3-9 years in prison by State Supreme Court Justice John Michalski in the shaking death of his infant son.

In March, Fiorentino pleaded guilty to Manslaughter in the Second Degree.

Fiorentino admitted that on or about October 24, 2015, at 90 Meadow Place in the Town of Cheektowaga, he recklessly caused the death of his 2 month old son, Bradley Fagan.

Fiorentino was 16-years-old at the time of the crime, but Justice Michalski denied youthful offender status at sentencing.

Acting DA Flaherty commends Cheektowaga Police Department Detectives Christopher Chojnacki and Terrance Griffin for their investigative work.

Assistant District Attorney Colleen Curtin Gable prosecuted the case.
