Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn, Jr. announces that 38-year-old Peter Isaacs of Buffalo pleaded guilty before State Supreme Court Justice Russell P. Buscaglia to Manslaughter in the First Degree.

On October 23, 2017, inside a vacant home at West Avenue in the City of Buffalo, the defendant strangled 46-year-old Preston German of Buffalo following an argument.

Isaacs faces a maximum of 25 years in prison when he is sentenced on Wednesday, May 23 at 9:30 a.m.

DA Flynn commends the investigative work of the Buffalo Police Department Homicide Squad, including Detectives Scott Malec, Mark White, Terrence Supples and Christopher Sterlace.

Assistant District Attorney Eugene T. Partridge III of the DA’s Homicide Bureau prosecuted case.
