On August 4, 2018, at approximately 10:40 p.m., the defendant fired multiple shots into a group of people outside of a house party on Hagen Street in the City of Buffalo. A 36-year-old woman was shot in the leg, but survived her injury. Another woman, 26-year-old Santana Anderson, was shot in the head and died at the scene.

Jackson faces a maximum of 32 years to life in prison when he is sentenced by Erie County Court Judge Sheila A. DiTullio on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 2 p.m. He remains remanded without bail.

This was the second jury trial in this matter. The first ended in a mistrial in May 2019 due to juror misconduct.
