Search Warrant Execution at Concord Street Home Results in Dozen Arrests for Illegal Guns and Drugs

Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn announces that twelve individuals have been arraigned following a joint investigation by the New York State Police and Buffalo Police Department into illegal guns and narcotics trafficking in the city’s Broadway-Fillmore neighborhood. All of the defendants were arraigned this morning before Buffalo City Court Judge Andrew C. LoTempio.  

It is alleged that on Tuesday, March 3, 2022, at approximately 9:00 a.m., members of the New York State Police and Buffalo Police Department executed a search warrant at a residence on Concord Street in the City of Buffalo. Twelve adults inside of the home were taken into custody. Investigators allegedly recovered a total of five illegal guns from various locations inside of the home, including one “ghost gun.” One of the five illegal guns was reported stolen in December 2020 from Huntsville, Alabama. Investigators also allegedly found quantities of crack cocaine, heroin, drug packaging paraphernalia and a digital scale during the search.

Eric J. Blair, 23, of Buffalo, was arraigned on the following offenses. It is further alleged that investigators found $1,300 in cash and small bags of crack cocaine and heroin on his person at the time of his arrest. Bail was set at $25,000 cash or $50,000 bond/partially secured bond.

William D. Miles, 19, of Buffalo was arraigned on the following offenses. It is further alleged that while being transported, investigators allegedly found a small bag of heroin on the backseat on the patrol vehicle near the defendant’s feet. Bail was set at $15,000 cash or $40,000 bond/partially secured bond.

Narrsson N. Boyd, also known as Narrsson Boyd Halsey, 26, of Buffalo was arraigned on the following offenses. Bail was set at $30,000 cash/bond or $50,000 partially secured bond.

  • One count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree (Class “D” felony)
  • One count of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fourth Degree (Class “E” felony)
  • Three counts of Criminally Using of Drug Paraphernalia in the Second Degree (Class “A” misdemeanor)
  • One count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree (Class “A” misdemeanor)

Bradley Jemison, 20, of Buffalo was arraigned on the following offenses. Bradley, who was wanted on bench warrant for failure to appear for sentencing for after pleading guilty to one count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree in February 2022, was remanded without bail.

Davan M. Dark, also known as Davon Dark, 43, of Buffalo was arraigned on the following offenses. Dark was also arraigned this morning on one count of Assault in the Second Degree (Class “D” felony) in a separate matter for allegedly causing injury to a cellblock attendant while in custody yesterday evening. The cellblock attendant was taken to ECMC for a shoulder injury. Dark was remanded without bail on both cases.

Michael J. Riolo, Jr., 41, of Cheektowaga was arraigned on the following offenses. Bail was set at $10,000 cash or $25,000 bond/partially secured bond.

  • One count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree (Class “D” felony)

Darsean A. Jackson, 19, of Buffalo was arraigned on the following offenses. Bail was set at $10,000 cash or $30,000 bond/partially secured bond.

Mysha N. Smith, also known as Bessie Jones, 33, of Buffalo was arraigned on the following offenses. Bail was set at $2,000 cash or $3,500 bond/partially secured bond.

Ebony D. Sanders, 45, of Buffalo was arraigned on the following offenses. Bail was set at $2,500 cash or $3,500 bond/partially secured bond.

James H. Davis, 64, of Buffalo was arraigned on the following offenses. Bail was set at $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond/partially secured bond.

  • One count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree (Class “D” felony)
  • One count of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fourth Degree (Class “E” felony)
  • Three counts of Criminally Using of Drug Paraphernalia in the Second Degree (Class “A” misdemeanor)
  • One count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree (Class “A” misdemeanor)

Destiny J. Nutting, 25 of Buffalo was arraigned on the following offenses. Bail was set at $5,000 cash, bond or partially secured bond.

  • Six counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree (Class “C” violent felonies)
  • One count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree (Class “D” felony)
  • One count of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fourth Degree (Class “E” felony)
  • Three counts of Criminally Using of Drug Paraphernalia in the Second Degree (Class “A” misdemeanor)
  • One count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree (Class “A” misdemeanor)

Lisa A. Candler, 56, of Buffalo was arraigned on the following offenses. Bail was set at $5,000 cash or bond/partially secured bond.

  • Six counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree (Class “C” violent felonies)
  • One count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree (Class “D” felony)
  • One count of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fourth Degree (Class “E” felony)
  • Three counts of Criminally Using of Drug Paraphernalia in the Second Degree (Class “A” misdemeanor)
  • One count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree (Class “A” misdemeanor)

All of the defendants are scheduled to return on Monday, May 9, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. for a felony hearing.

DA Flynn commends members of the New York State Police Troop A Community Stabilization Unit, Violent Gang and Narcotic Enforcement Team, Special Investigations Unit and Special Operations Response Team as well as the Buffalo Police Department Narcotics and Intelligence Units for their work in this investigation.

The cases are being prosecuted by Chief John P. Gerken, Jr. and Assistant District Attorney Justin H. Caldwell of the Narcotics and Intelligence Unit.  

As are all persons accused of a crime, the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
