Special Victims Bureau

The Special Victims Bureau, led by Chief Rosanne E. Johnson, is responsible for the prosecution of all cases involving sexual assault, child abuse, Internet crimes against children, and sex offender registration violations. Its mission is to aggressively pursue justice on behalf of our most vulnerable victims while also being sensitive to the unique issues and dynamics associated sexual assaults and child abuse. All those assigned to the Special Victims Bureau receive specialized training and prosecute cases by means of a multi-disciplinary team approach designed, in part, to minimize the trauma suffered by the victim.
