Erie County District Attorney Frank A. Sedita, III announced that 21 year-old Sean Guthrie of Buffalo pleaded guilty, as charged, to four counts of Burglary in the Second Degree, two counts of Conspiracy in the Fourth Degree and one count of Tampering with Physical Evidence before Supreme Court Justice Penny M. Wolfgang.  These are the highest charges for which Guthrie could have been convicted had he gone to trial.

Guthrie admitted to a series of daytime, residential burglaries committed by defendant and his accomplices in May and June 2013 in Orchard Park, Boston, Concord, Holland and Marilla.

The case was successfully prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Paul E. Bonanno, Chief of DA Sedita’s Felony Trials Bureau.  Guthrie faces a maximum sentence of 72 years in state prison when he is sentenced on March 12, 2014 before Justice Wolfgang.
