Woman Charged with Murder in Stabbing Death near Medical Campus

Erie County District Attorney Frank A. Sedita, III announced that 28 year-old Nedra S. Jones of 591 North Oak Street, Buffalo, will be arraigned at 9:30 a.m. before Supreme Court Justice M. William Boller on an indictment charging her with Murder in the Second Degree.   

It is alleged that on September 8, 2013 outside 591 North Oak Street, Buffalo, Jones murdered 28 year-old Lonnice M. Willis of 2473 Seneca Street, Buffalo, by stabbing her. 

If convicted of these crimes Jones faces a maximum prison sentence of 25 years to life.  Like all defendants accused of a crime, Jones is legally presumed to be innocent until her guilt is proven in a court of law.
