During last week’s session, the Erie County Legislature unanimously approved a consolidated bond resolution that will fund projects throughout the county along with an additional $3 million for road work and infrastructure improvements. Legislator Lynne Dixon is pleased to announce that a portion of this funding will be dedicated to mill and overlay work on McKinley Parkway from Willet Road to Route 20 in the Town of Hamburg. Additionally, the resolution will fund restoration and structural upgrades to the Botanical Gardens in Lackawanna.

“I look forward to these projects getting underway and finished as soon as possible. I am always proud to support these investments to make sure we are maintaining the quality public services our community has to offer.”

Improvements to parks throughout the county and all ECC campuses can also be expected.
