Legislator Dixon announces more road repairs and additional projects to be completed throughout district

Last week, Erie County Legislator Lynne Dixon stopped by the Hamburg Senior Center to pass out flowers as a special gift ahead of Mother’s Day.

Mill and overlay work on McKinley Parkway from Willet Road to Route 20 in the Town of Hamburg
In partnership with the Erie County Sheriff’s Office will hold a free Boater Safety Course that allows boaters to meet state requirements
The additional $650,000 will remove and relocate rail tracks along Route 5
Encouraging all dog, cat and ferret owners to bring their pets to a free rabies clinic next month

During last week’s session, the Erie County Legislature unanimously approved a consolidated bond resolution that will fund projects throughout the county along with an additional $3 million for road work and infrastructure improvements. Legislator Lynne Dixon is pleased to announce that a portion of this funding will be dedicated to mill and overlay work on McKinley Parkway from Willet Road to Route 20 in the Town of Hamburg. Additionally, the resolution will fund restoration and structural upgrades to the Botanical Gardens in Lackawanna. 

“I look forward to these projects getting underway and finished as soon as possible. I am always proud to support these investments to make sure we are maintaining the quality public services our community has to offer.”

Improvements to parks throughout the county and all ECC campuses can also be expected.
