Erie County Legislator Lynne Dixon announces there will be a public information session to provide an updated timeline on scheduled repairs for Lake Avenue.

Last month, Legislator Dixon wrote a letter to the Department of Public Works requesting a public information session for an update on the project after the Legislature approved funding in 2016. The letter can be viewed here.

“Many residents are understandably frustrated with the condition of Lake Avenue and the lack of information that has been given,” said Legislator Lynne Dixon. “After contacting the administration with these concerns, I look forward to finally getting some answers. While residents have been more than patient, I am hopeful that the commitment to this project will result in not only a safe road, but other infrastructure improvements to the Village of Blasdell that the community will be pleased with.”

The information session will be held Thursday, June 14th from 6:15pm - 7:30pm at the Blasdell Elementary School located at 3780 South Park Ave. Members of the Department of Public Works will be present to address questions and concerns from the public.
