During last week’s session, the Legislature approved funding for various road and infrastructure projects, including several in Legislator Lynne Dixon’s district.

The following projects were approved:

  • Engineering design services for pedestrian safety improvements in the Town and Villages of Hamburg
  • Pavement rehab and resurfacing design services for Abbott Road and McKinley Parkway in the Town of Hamburg
  • Bridge painting and repairs throughout the Village of Hamburg
  • Contract for construction services for the Dona Street Extension and Bethlehem Steel redevelopment project

“I’m pleased to support these projects to enhance safety throughout our community and make a smoother commute for those who travel on many of our highly-trafficked roads,” said Legislator Dixon. “I also look forward to the progression of the Bethlehem Steel redevelopment project, which will make way for the Shoreline Trail and provide new recreational opportunities for the community to enjoy.”
