Community meetings planned at Lackawanna Senior Center, Lake Shore Library

Erie County Legislator Lynne Dixon has scheduled two community meetings in her district to meet with constituents and provide an update on Legislative items and other County matters.

Free dresses available for high school girls to wear to prom & special occasion

Erie County Legislator Lynne Dixon, Urban Valet Dry Cleaners and Performing Arts Dance Academy announce the dates for the 5thannual Prom Dress Drive Shopping Days. Local high school girls are invited to attend the shopping event to find a free gown for prom or other special event at from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday, April 5 or noon to 3 p.m. Sunday, April 6, at Performing Arts Dance Academy, 206 Lake St., Hamburg, NY.

As is tradition, Erie County Legislator Lynne Dixon honored this year’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade Grand Marshal at the session before the popular Irish holiday, helping to kick-off a weekend of festivities.

Erie County Legislator Lynne Dixon, chairwoman of the Health and Human Services Committee, has submitted a resolution to improve the Erie County Community Coordinating Council on Children and Families in an effort to assist the Department of Social Services with providing critical services to residents in need.

Erie County Legislator Lynne Dixon and Urban Valet Dry Cleaners are proud to announce the return of their Prom Dress Drive for the 5th year. Gowns are being collected from Monday, Feb. 24 through Friday, March 21, 2014 and will be made available to local high school girls who are in need of a dress for prom or special occasion.
