Last week, Erie County Legislator Lynne Dixon spoke at the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) Buffalo Niagara Meeting.

They focus on educational and networking opportunities, encouragement through mentoring and support, and promotion and acknowledgement of the pioneer spirit. Legislator Dixon spoke about the rise in women owned businesses and the economic impact, the development of women in leadership and the need to continue to seek opportunities, family values, and empowering women to own businesses.
Legislator Dixon said, “This is an incredible organization focused on propelling women entrepreneurs into economic, social and political spheres across the country and creating innovative and effective changes in business culture. Thank you to current President Christine Howard and President-Elect Chair Sherrie Barr Mack for all the work you've done and to all who attended last week’s meeting.”
