Erie County Legislator Lynne Dixon will meet with seniors at the Hamburg and Lackawanna Senior Centers to hear feedback on Erie County’s Senior Services Department. This time of the year the department releases the 2018 service delivery plan for older adults in Erie County and seeks input.

“Each year the Department of Senior Services hosts public hearings to collect input from seniors. This is a great idea and I encourage all seniors and caregivers for older adults to participate. We best serve you by hearing from you. However, there are only two hearings scheduled and the times and locations aren’t convenient for everyone in the county, which is why I am hosting discussions at the senior centers in my district to talk one-on-one with members to ensure they have the opportunity to participate and have their voice heard. I look forward to hearing feedback on what we can do to improve the County’s Senior Services and what is being done well,” said Legislator Dixon.

Legislator Dixon will host discussions on the following dates:

  • 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 24 at the Hamburg Senior Center, 4540 Southwestern Blvd., Hamburg
  • 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25 at the Lackawanna Senior Center, 230 Martin Road, Lackawanna
