REVISED/CORRECTED Test Guide for Police & Sheriff exams on 9/14/19

 An error was recently discovered in the Guide to the Written Test for the Entry-Level Law Enforcement Officer Series (For all municipalities except White Plains).  Specifically, there were incorrect answers listed for practice test questions 6, 7, and 8 on page 37. 

The error has been corrected and the test guide was reposted on our website with a note indicating that it has been revised.  Candidates can access the revised test guide at https://www.cs.ny.gov/testing/testguides.cfm  and at erie.gov under Civil Service Study Guides.
