 Senior Chief, Confidential Criminal Investigator 

Starting Annual Salary: $58,548

Senior Chief, Confidential Criminal Investigator The work involves responsibility for the work and supervision of all investigators and employees assigned to the Task Force for the District Attorney’s Office.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A) Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with a Bachelor’s degree and six (6) years of experience as a police officer, at least four (4) years of which included criminal investigative work experience in one of the following fields, narcotics, homicide, and gun crimes and four (4) years of supervision; or B) Completion of a minimum of 60 semester credit hours from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university and eight (8) years of experience as a police officer, at least six (6) years of which included criminal investigative work experience in one of the following fields, narcotics, homicide, and gun crimes and six (6) years of supervision; or C) An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of (A) and (B).

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Possession of a Police Officer Basic Training Certificate or its equivalent issued by the New York State Municipal Police Training Council at time of appointment. Possession of a valid New York State Driver's License at time appointment.
