Local agriculture is an important and varied regional asset. In Erie County, we have the good fortune of having a large number of farms and agricultural businesses.

In an effort to support local farms and protect farmland, the 2012 Erie County Agricultural and Farmland Protection Plan set out a variety of goals relating to local agriculture. Included among those is the incorporation of agritourism into countywide tourism efforts.

This map (printable pdf or digital map), produced by the Erie County Soil and Water Conservation District, shows local farmers markets, roadside markets, and u-pick farms to help residents and visitors alike find locally sourced fresh food to enjoy.

Visit our Agricultural Planning section for more information about agriculture in Erie County.
