The Erie County Department of Parks, Recreation and Forestry has announced that golf passes for the 2017 season are now available, and for the next two weekends golfers will be able to renew their passes at either the Grover Cleveland of Elma Meadows golf course. After these two special engagements, new applicants or golfers in need of a new card must apply in person at the Rath building.

“Golf season is just around the corner, and while we do not have a date set yet to open the courses we do want golfers do get their passes and get ready for a great season,” said Commissioner of Parks, Recreation and Forestry Daniel J. Rizzo. “Whether you are a new golfer or an old hand, you’ll find fun and challenging golf at both Grover Cleveland and Elma Meadows. We are offering these two special weekends at Grover and Elma Meadows as a way to make it easier for new golfers and returning players to get their passes, and after that we’ll handle passes at our downtown offices.”

The clubhouse at Elma Meadows will be open this Friday and Saturday, March 24th and 25th, from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM to accommodate golfers for new passes or renewals.

The clubhouse at Grover Cleveland will be open Friday March 31 and Saturday April 1 from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM to accommodate golfers for new passes or renewals.

These are the only dates when staff will be at the courses for golf passes; all other requests should be addressed at the Parks department offices at 95 Franklin Street in Buffalo.
