Erie County Executive Mark C. Poloncarz was joined today by Commissioner of Social Services Marie Cannon to honor and welcome back to county service Christopher Kennedy, a Major in the U.S. Army Reserve who recently completed his fourth overseas deployment. A Management and Organizational Consultant in the Erie County Social Services Department, Mr. Kennedy has served our country for twenty years and was last deployed to Kuwait in support of Operation Inherent Resolve. County Executive Poloncarz presented Mr. Kennedy with a proclamation honoring him for his devotion to duty and for his and his family’s sacrifices, as well as thanking him for his service to our country and county.
