Happy Holidays! By now many, if not most of our county’s fire departments and emergency services agencies have held their annual elections or appointments (with the exception of some village departments) so it’s an appropriate time to update your officer list for the coming year. If your election results have not yet been announced, please complete and submit this form as soon as the information is available.
It’s imperative that we have cell phone numbers, email addresses and other pertinent contact info for each member of your leadership team as we may need to contact these individuals in an emergency, or non-emergency related to projects, programs or issues affecting your agency and our emergency services community.
Following are links to the form we currently use to collect this point-of-contact information:
- You can also enter your information directly via this online submission form: http://www2.erie.gov/fire/index.php?q=fdems-agency-officers-update-form
A copy of your completed form will automatically be emailed back to the person who submitted it. You can also elect to have copy of the completed form emailed to another officer. - If necessary, it is also available for completing and downloading from our web site, but we encourage you to use our online form if at all possible: http://www2.erie.gov/fire/sites/www2.erie.gov.fire/files/1014-Officers%20List%20Update%20Form161227.pdf) Please dispose of any old forms.
Much of this information is used to create the content for the Erie County Fire Chiefs Mutual Aid Organization’s Annual Resource Guide which is traditionally printed and distributed to all appropriate agencies in March of each year.
For their convenience, we will automatically include these individuals on our eNewsletter “The Training Ground” email distribution list to receive advance notice of training opportunities and other events. If all of your responders are not signed up for this distribution list, they’re missing out on important informational updates and could lose out on securing class seats as so many courses fill up quickly after they’re announced.
And please remind them (and their friends and families) to sign up for the ReadyErie App to receive critical information and emergency alerts, and create a personalized Emergency Plan.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation in sharing this important message with the appropriate parties in your organization. Please don’t hesitate to let us know how we can be of assistance to you and your agency in the new year.
