Erie County Legislature Chairperson Betty Jean Grant (D-Buffalo) is announcing that applications are being accepted from interested parties for consideration to fill the Erie County Water Authority commissioner vacancy.

Subject: Public Notice Concerning Position of Commissioner of the Erie County Water Authority - Letters of Interest Being Accepted
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that letters of interest from candidates interested in appointment to the position of Commissioner of the Erie County Water Authority are now being accepted for that position by the Erie County Legislature.
The Legislature’s Rules of Order, Section 5.01 (Appointments and Confirmations) state that “Candidates, including incumbents seeking reappointment, for the position of Commissioner of the Erie County Water Authority, shall formally submit, in writing, to the Chair of the Legislature, notice of their candidacy for that position.”
All interested candidates who wish to apply for this position should submit a letter of interest, along with a resume, to Betty Jean Grant, Chair, Erie County Legislature, c/o Robert M. Graber, Clerk of Legislature, 4th Fl., Old County Hall, 92 Franklin St., Buffalo, N.Y. 14202.
Letters must be submitted no later than Friday, November 15, 2013.
