Erie County Legislator Kevin Hardwick has planned District Community Meetings to meet with residents and discuss County issues. Held in an open-house forum, residents are welcome to attend as they are able to speak directly with Legislator Hardwick on issues that affect them.
“The county is on the brink of its busiest time of year, the budget process. In preparation, I have scheduled District Community Meetings to talk directly with residents about their concerns and questions surrounding the steps taken each year to create the budget, or any other issue,” said Legislator Hardwick.
District Community Meetings have been scheduled on the following days:
- Wednesday, Aug. 22, from 10 a.m. to noon, at the Grand Island Library, 1715 Bedell Road, Grand Island
- Friday, Aug. 24, from 2 to 4 p.m., at the City of Tonawanda Library, 333 Main St., Tonawanda
Information about Senior Services, Social Services, Veteran Affairs, the County Clerk’s office and other County departments will be available. Notary services are also offered, free of charge.
Anyone who is unable to attend a scheduled District Community Meeting, and is interested in speaking with Legislator Hardwick, is asked to contact the Legislative Office to schedule a meeting at a time and location that is convenient for them.
