Isle View Park 1Erie County Legislator Kevin Hardwick, R-Tonawanda, announces a free spring guided walk in the County’s Isle View Park will be held June 18. The walk is part of a County program designed to promote healthy family fun and encourage residents to be more active.

 

“This is a free event and a great opportunity for families and residents to be active while touring the County’s beautiful park located along the Niagara River,” Legislator Hardwick said. “There is a lot to explore in this park, which has one of the best views in the County’s entire parks system.”

 

Isle View Park 2Registration begins at 9 a.m. onsite and the walk will follow at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 18 at Isle View Park, 796 Niagara Street, Tonawanda. Meet at Gazebo 2.

 

At these walks attendees will be able to learn more about how to get healthy and stay healthy, and receive health screenings targeting blood pressure and BMI. Assorted health education materials and smoking cessation services, products, and cessation program enrollment are available at each walk.
