Community Members with and without Prenatal Expertise

Mission: To educate the community on the difference types of diabetes and how it can affect a pregnancy, the impact of a woman being underweight or overweight before and during a pregnancy, and the benefits of a healthy nutritious diet both before and during a pregnancy.   

Who Should Attend: Social workers, community health workers, case workers & managers, counselors, faith-based organizations, & neighborhood or block clubs leaders.  Previous prenatal experience not required. ____________________________________________________________________
