Community Trainings in Opioid Overdose Recognition & Naloxone Use

Narcan Kit

The Erie County Department of Health is offering FREE community trainings in opioid overdose recognition and the use of naloxone for reversal. Upon completion, participants will be able to recognize the signs and symptoms of an opioid overdose; administer naloxone (Narcan) properly; and take necessary follow-up steps.

Hepatitis Awareness Month

Heavy alcohol use, toxins, some medications, and certain medical conditions can cause hepatitis. However, hepatitis is most often caused by a virus.
