Erie County Legislator Timothy R. Hogues (D-Buffalo) will cohost two community meeting of Say Yes Buffalo, a group that presents scholarships to public and private school graduates in the City of Buffalo, starting with the Class of 2013, in February.
The first community meeting will be held from 6-8 p.m. Monday, February 4, at the Stanley M. Makowski Early Childhood Center, 1095 Jefferson Avenue, Buffalo. Legislator Hogues will cohost the meeting with Buffalo Board of Education Central District Member Mary Ruth Kapsiak and Ellicott District Buffalo Common Council Member Darius Pridgen.
The second community meeting will be held from 3-5 p.m. Saturday, February 23, at the Frank E. Merriweather Jr. Library, 1324 Jefferson Avenue, Buffalo. Legislator Hogues will cohost the meeting with Buffalo Board of Education Ferry District Member Sharon Belton-Cottman and Masten District Buffalo Common Council Member Demone Smith.
