Local Laws - 1975


Local Law No. 1

            Amends Local Law No. 1-1959 of the Erie County Charter by adding qualifications for the purchasing director.

 Local Law No. 2

            Amends Local Law No. 1-1959 by amending section 401 of the Erie County Charter by adding qualifications for the commissioner of finance.

 Local Law No. 3

            Amends Local Law No. 1-1960 by changing section 4.07 of the Erie County Administrative Code and adding qualifications for the deputy commissioner in charge of the division of treasury.

 Local Law No. 4

            Amends Local Law No. 7-1973, by amending section 2 of the Erie County Code of Ethics.

Local Law No. 5

            Amends Local Law No. 1-1960 by repealing section 3.08 of the administrative code and replacing it with a new section 3.08 regarding the functions of the Bureau of Central Services.

 Local Law No. 6

            Amends Local Law No. 1-1959 by amending article XI, section 1102, and providing for a system of emergency care for foster children and for an emergency telephone service. 

 Local Law No. 7

            Implements an allowance of exemptions from taxes and special ad valorem levies imposed by or on behalf of the county for county and part county purposes to eligible business facilities certified by the N.Y.S. job incentives board. 

 Local Law No. 8

            Amends Local Law 12-1974 by repealing section 2, subsection 12 of the Erie County Room Occupancy Tax Law, and replacing it with a new section 2, subsection 12.

 Local Law No. 9

            Amends Local Law No. 1-1960 regarding Article 3, section 3.08A of the Erie County Administrative Code. 

Local Law No. 10

            Implements the N.Y.S. Freedom of Information Law of 1974.
